Eric Karl Nicholas M. Aguilar
Atty. Eric Karl Nicholas M. Aguilar was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022 and was recognized for his Exemplary Performance during the 2020/2021 Philippine Bar Examinations. He is concurrently a lecturer at the Saint Louis University School of Law, teaching Philosophy of Law. He graduated 4 th in his class at Saint Louis University School of Law in 2021. In law school, he interned at the Ateneo Human Rights Center of the Ateneo Law School, where he assisted in public legal education campaigns, and at the Office of the Solicitor General, where he assisted in the preparation of pleadings, memoranda, and other legal processes involving the Republic of the Philippines.
Atty. Aguilar was active in moot court and debate competitions in law school. He was a world semi-finalist in the prestigious Concours Jean Pictet Competition on International Humanitarian Law and was nominated for the Gilbert-Apollis Prize for Best Speaker. He was likewise a champion in the International Committee of the Red Cross-National Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law’s Role Play Challenge and was a national semi-finalist at the DILG National Debate Contest on Federalism. He likewise participated as an oralist at the National and Global Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition Southeast Asian Regional Rounds.
He was likewise engaged with the SLU School of Law’s Bar Operations Committee as a committee head, the SLU School of Law’s Bar Academics Committee as head of the Political Law Academics Team, and with the Chief Justice Manuel V. Moran Community Legal Assistance Office as chairperson.
